At Moose we have a pretty substantial selection of Baggallini Baggs from which to choose, and we refill our stock regularly.  The former flight attendants who initially began Baggallini had some great ideas right from the start for practical, perfect travel bags, and they have continued to improve their products and diversify their line.  So we have a wall of choices, giving each of our customers a lot to think about. And think about which style would work best for me, I did! I happily decided on the BIG SYDNEY BAGG in the new metallic graphite color, and I have to say, I was really pleased with my choice.  Here’s what features I considered:

1. I wanted a bag that was big enough to carry my iPAD.
2. A zip closure on the top is important to me for security reasons.
3. I wanted a pocket on the front large enough for my camera.
4. And another large pocket on the front for my phone.
5. I wanted large pockets inside for travel documents and receipts.
6. I needed a strap that was long enough to be able to wear the bag cross body, which I did comfortably.  The swivel hooks on the straps are really nice too.
7. The detachable passport holder came in handy!
8. I always consider color and the new metallics are really pretty!  They’re not too shiny or stiff and the graphite has a hot pink lining, which suits me fine!

Springtime may hold the hope of feeling light and pretty with the potential of wearing summer dresses, but it’s really hard to pull that feeling off with winter-white skin. And then summer comes and everything is brighter, bolder, and summer fashion is SO much fun!

Ahh, but then autumn arrives! Chilly mornings and warm afternoons let a girl have a fashion freedom not available to her in other seasons. How do we accomplish that? Simple! Layers, layers, layers!

A new and very special Jennimoose favorite at Moose Mountain are our AMMA tunic tops. AMMA’s works of art are made with a cozy blend of modal, linen and spandex. They are machine washable and they are made in the USA! On those warm afternoons the AMMA tunic allows you a last chance to show off your sun-kissed legs. When the coolness of the evening arrives, you can throw on a pair of Lisse Leggings or your favorite skinny jeans. Wrap yourself with a Pure Handknits cotton shawl or (my favorite) a Kinross cashmere cape and enjoy the freedom of feeling like you’re dressing for summer, but in a temperature appropriate way.

Another idea is to always have a large scarf in your bag that can be used as a shoulder wrap or just to add some flair to your look. Be it a soft Pashmina or a Baby Mo mohair shawl, a shoulder wrap will come in handy. Use it to protect yourself from the sun, the wind, or the chill in the autumn evening air.

Layers. Add ‘em, take ‘em off, and look great either way!

OK, IT’S TIME.

Time to leave PAJAMA PANTS at home, and the flip flops at the beach.

IT’S TIME to stop wearing sneakers to work and sweatpants to the airport.

It’s time to give up lazy dressing altogether.

Designwise, Rossellini has a distinctive look and Hiersemann-Eckrodt’s clean geometric style is fairly easy to recognize. She likes to use stainless steel with Swarovski crystals cut into unusual shapes, along with richly colored acrylics and Venetian glass beads. Necklaces designed with a rainbow’s variety of colors are very popular. Also, she’ll make the same pattern in different scales and color combinations, giving each variation an incredibly unique look. I never fail to get a compliment when I wear one of my necklaces, and fans of this designer have told me repeatedly that they’ve had the same experience.

Notably, because Rossellini necklaces are strung on steel wire, I’m told that they’re strong enough to hold a grasping toddler-sized child. One of our Rossellini-loving and collecting customers has a daughter who can’t keep her little hands off Mommy’s pretty necklaces! Anyway, they’re amazingly strong and lightweight and I’ve never had anyone have a problem with one of their necklaces. I have quite a collection of them personally and always enjoy wearing one to give a lift to an otherwise plain outfit. I’ve got my eyes on two others now which would fill holes in my collection–good justification, huh??

Before and Again manufactures their tops in St. Louis one at a time using a relatively new (and green) process of printing called sublimation. The design is actually heat transferred on the front, and then onto the back of the garment. Sometimes sublimated garments will have lines of white around the sleeves where the garment was creased during printing, and therefore, not printed.

Because Before and Again has the technology to custom make their shirts, we can get any print on any style garment at any time. So if you like a print but would rather have it on a different style shirt than we currently have, just ask, and we’ll have it made just for you!

That being said, I have my favorites! These are the things that we sell which I personally love wearing, using, or giving as gifts. These are the styles that are in my own closet and which fill my drawers. I give these items my personal seal of approval and on our new website, I have a way of “marking” the Jennimoose Picks! If you see a little moose with pink antlers beside the item name, be assured that I personally chose it!
